An OVI checkpoint held in Defiance late Friday night resulted in no arrests.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Williams County Sheriff's Office, and the Bryan Police Department operated the checkpoint on State Route 15 and US 127, just north of Bryan.
From 9 p.m. to midnight, 582 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, and only one vehicle was diverted. The driver of the vehicle was found not to be impaired.
Officers also patrolled the area surrounding the checkpoint with no violations issued.
According to officials, the OVI checkpoint and saturation patrol were funded by fines from impaired drivers and other federal funds.
