SYLVANIA, OH (Press Release) -
Ace Hardware in Sylvania is helping make miracles happen for the Mercy Children's
July 20 and 21, customers who make a $5 donation at Ace will receive a limited
edition 5-gallon bucket and 20 percent off almost everything that they can fit
in the bucket. All proceeds from the donations will benefit Mercy Children's
Hospital, a local Children's Miracle Network member.
will also have an outdoor booth set up with cotton candy, raffle tickets, and
more to celebrate the event.
Miracle Child Regan Erskine, who battles ulcerative colitis, will be at the event
for customers to meet, as well.

that is our commitment to giving back to the community we serve," said Jim, a
store manager. "We're
proud to help make miracles happen for children in need, while at the same time
providing customers with fun opportunities and incentives for donation."
The bucket promotion was
brought to life by Ellie Fontanetta, a 9-year-old who is the face of Ace's 2013
Ace Cares for Kids Campaign. Fontanetta was diagnosed with myelomeningocele, a
type of spina bifida, before she was born.
Ace has raised more than $54
million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across the country since 1991.
