WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

It has been two year since Sgt. Brian Dulle was killed in the line of duty in Warren County. However, his legacy continues to spread through the Tri-state and beyond.

The Dulle children got the engines revved up and ready to go as hundreds of bikers took to the Warren County streets to honor the memory of Brian Dulle.

"We're just blessed that people continue to honor our son that we were blessed to have for 36 years," said Brian's father, Ed Dulle. "It's just touching."

As the memorial ride continues to grow the Dulle family finds new ways to give back and carry on Brian's legacy.

"We want to remember Brian for the guy that he was," explained event coordinator, John Wright. "He was absolutely adored by his peers and his bosses. He was a great leader. He was a great friend and a mentor to others."

The money raised at the event goes toward three different funds. Some goes toward The Shield, a group which aids families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty before paperwork can be filed and insurance kicks in.

"For us to be able to just walk in immediately after the incident occurs and hand them that check - it just takes away one more worry that family has," said Mark Ziegelmeyer of Iron Shields.

Funds also go towards Maddie's Hope, a fund named after Dulle's daughter that helps children battling cancer.

The remainder goes toward the Brian Dulle Scholarship Foundation.

Despite the event being pushed back a day due to rain, a total of 454 bikers and passengers participated in the memorial ride.

Organizers are hoping that the event raises several thousand dollars.
