The Fostoria Police Department says one woman has died and another woman is in critical condition after a man shot at them over the weekend.
Police say the shooting happened at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 Block of Bannister Street.
Lisa Stowers, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. Tyeesha Ferguson, 36, also sustained gunshot wounds and is currently listed in critical condition
Police say they are looking for shooting suspect Calvin Dixson, 37. They believe he could be driving an older Dodge pickup truck that's green or gray.
Dixson is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. People should call 911 to reporting a sighting.
According to police, Dixson may have acted in a jealous rage.
"We believe Dixson is the estranged boyfriend of one of the victims. There was a CPO against him for a no contact order," said Captain Pat Brooks with the Fostoria Police Department.
Neighbors who heard the gunshots say they are stunned.
"It's unbelievable how somebody could do that," said Tyler Swanigan.
"It's pretty scary if you're living around here when it happens," said Akhara Mondle.
Police say Dixson has connections in Perrysburg, as well as the Cleveland area. Dixson also has an active warrant issued by Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
The Fostoria Police Department has now issued a warrant against Dixson for aggravated murder. They are continuing their investigation and will continue to actively pursue Dixson until he is apprehended.
Dixson is described as a black male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 260 pounds. His last known address was in Perrysburg.
Anyone with more information on the shooting or Dixson's whereabouts should call police immediately.
