Sylvania Township Trustee Kevin Haddad owns a hair salon on Monroe Street in west Toledo.
A few years ago, his business was tagged and within the last two weeks, he's been staring at fresh graffiti on the building next to his right in front of where his customers park.
Haddad says the gold graffiti is fairly old, but the orange drawings are the newest.
The graffiti could easily be covered up, but to Haddad, there is a deeper concern for a growing trend in crime in the area.
While Haddad isn't sure if it is gang related, he does say car thefts and other crimes have risen in the last two years and he wants answers.
"Put up cameras or whatever they have to do for surveillance so they can have all of this on record," said Haddad. "It's scary, you when you're in this area and you don't know what's going to happen because we're out in West Toledo and who knows when somebody could get shot or murdered."
