Dewayne Thompson, wanted in the wounding and kidnapping of 17-year-old Katelyn Beard, has been captured by Jackson Police. He was taken into custody around 5:45 in west Jackson near where Beard's vehicle was found earlier today.

United Way of Fulton County is getting ready to hand out backpacks and school
supplies to more than 1,000 kids. They have teamed up with the Job and Family
Services Department to find families in need and collect the supplies.

supplies get to those in need.
