Police say that a man stole $270,000 worth of items by convincing a woman to let him store the items over the course of a year.
The Cincinnati Police Department says that Shannon Ward, 42, offered to store items for Marlene Vonderhaar and took them for a year. When the items were in Ward's possession, he allegedly sold the items without Vonderhaar's permission or knowledge.
According to police, Vonderhaar requested to take the items back and Ward did not given them to her.
Ward was arrested on August 1 and is in jail for theft charges. His bond is set at $2,700.
