TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man accused of two fatal shootings appeared in court Monday.

Traquawn Gibson is being charged with murder for allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend Crejonnia "CJ" Bell in November 2012. According to police, Gibson shot Bell four times in the head and chest outside of her home on Weber Street. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

He is also accused of killing Deonta Allen on Fernwood Avenue in October 2012. Preliminary investigation revealed the victims were sitting in a car when multiple suspects approached them and opened fire. One victim was hospitalized, but Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gibson did not take a plea deal Monday morning, although he was expected to accept it. Jury selection will now begin.

Gibson's next court appearance is Sept. 3.
