A routine traffic stop leads to the arrest of an Osgood man on drug charges.
In the early morning
hours of August 1, a Ripley County deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Shaine Edwards, near the
intersection of US 421 and US 50 in Versailles.
Deputies say that when they ran Edwards' records, they found out he was driving on a suspended license.
Deputies say they found marijuana, cocaine and methadone in the car.
Edwards was transported to the Ripley County Jail and booked for Possession of
Cocaine, Class D Felony, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance,
Class D Felony, and Possession of Marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor.
