The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that left a teenage girl dead Thursday evening.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the teen as Leah Robinson, 15, of Bowie, MD.
According to reports, a Ford Expedition was traveling westbound on I-80 in North Royalton when the vehicle lost control on the wet pavement, veered of the road, and struck an embankment.
The vehicle turned over and Robinson was ejected from the third row.
All seven passengers inside the vehicle were taken to Southwest General Hospital in Middleburgh Heights where Robinson was pronounced dead.
The other six passengers sustained non-life threatening vehicles.
Charges are pending.
