While Kings Island specializes in thrill-inducing attractions, the park is also pretty good at raising hope.
During "Pink Days" at Kings Island from August 1-24, guests can experience all the thrills the amusement and waterpark has to offer while having an opportunity to help make an impact during the fourth annual Kings Island for the Cure campaign to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
Guests will have an opportunity to purchase a pink rubber Snoopy for a chance to win a brand new 2013 Honda Accord courtesy of Kings Honda and Performance Honda. After being purchased during "Pink Days", guests toss their Pink Snoopy into the park's fountain on International Street.
On August 24, one lucky Pink Snoopy will be randomly selected from the fountain and the owner of the Pink Snoopy will win the car.
All proceeds from the Pink Snoopy sales go directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Cincinnati affiliate.
Entering this season, nearly $600,000 has been raised for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Cincinnati affiliate through the campaign.
