A driver died from his injuries early Sunday morning, after his pickup truck overturned in a field off County Road 5-2 in Fulton County.
The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that 23-year-old Nathan Parsons, of Delta, Ohio, was behind the wheel when the Ford F-150 crashed around 2 a.m.
Patrolmen say Parsons lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway before crashing. Parsons was ejected from his vehicle.
Two of Parsons' three passengers were also ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Aaron Betz, of Delta, and 21-year-old Paige Simon, of Metamora, were transported to Toledo-area hospitals.
A third passenger, 22-year-old Ashley Herr, of Metamora, suffered minor injuries. Patrolmen say she was in the backseat and wearing her seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation. It is unknown if alcohol played a factor.
