PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says two men were found with more than 600 Oxycodone pills Wednesday morning.
The patrol pulled over 38-year-old Luciana Loyd and 22-year-old Vincent Barksdale for speeding on I-75 in Wood County. The patrol says a drug sniffing K9 indicated there were drugs inside the vehicle. During a search, troopers found 676 Oxycodone pills and more than $16,000 in cash in the center council of the car, according to the patrol.
Loyd and Barksdale were both arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of Oxycodone. The two could face up to 16 years in prison and a $30,000 fine if convicted.
