foul odor has some people fed up in west Toledo.
Rieff has lived in the Westbrook mobile home park on Angola Road for three
years. She says every year, spring through summer, the air smells like rotten
eggs thanks to her neighbor, the CYO Athletic Complex.
says when the well water is used to water the fields there, the wind blows
fumes into the neighborhood.
have asthma, so it wakes me up and I can't breathe," she said. "It makes me
very nauseated and ill. I have thrown up from it."
says she's reached out to the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, the city, and the
Ohio EPA, and she's hoping for some sort of resolution.

violated. I have the right to breathe fresh air," she said.
Athletics Director Jeff Mielcarek says they've looked into solutions and will
continue to look, but when it comes down to it, it's costly to make the change
from well water to city water.
