CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Hazmat crews determined a suspicious powder reported at Procter & Gamble headquarters downtown is not dangerous.

It was reported Wednesday afternoon in the mail room at P&G's campus, located just off of East 5th Street.

Officials say a white powder was found inside a hand-written letter sent to the company, which was later determined to be some sort of absorbent powder and not hazardous.

The FBI, Cincinnati police and fire officials all reported to the scene.

Authorities are now investigating where the letter came from.

Cincinnati-based P&G serves approximately 4.6 billion people around the world with several of its products, ranging from Tide detergent to Swiffer sweepers.
