Dewayne Thompson, wanted in the wounding and kidnapping of 17-year-old Katelyn Beard, has been captured by Jackson Police. He was taken into custody around 5:45 in west Jackson near where Beard's vehicle was found earlier today.

buildings and a lack of space are prompting leaders at Liberty Center Schools
to look to the future. They want to build a new facility, but want to hear from
officials say the public's input is very important in this process, so they're
getting them involved early.
survey is up online, asking residents what changes they want to see in the
district. Leaders say they want to know if there's more support for building
upgrades and additions, or a completely new facility. They also want to know
what location people prefer, and if they'd be willing to support a levy.
