CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

On Thursday, August 29, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Fourth District officers responded to the Charter One Bank at 16622 Harvard Avenue for a bank robbery in progress.

Upon arrival, they saw a male matching the suspect's description inside of the bank, pacing back and forth.  Sergeant Dean Graziolli, Patrol Officer Nelvyn Mauldin and Patrol Officer Timothy Hannon entered the bank and ordered the suspect down onto the floor.  He complied and was arrested without incident.

The male had passed a note to the bank teller demanding money.  The male was wearing a hard hat and had dread locks.  Upon arrest it was discovered that the hard hat and dread locks were part of his disguise as the male actually has short hair.
