A Ft. Thomas man broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most torches extinguished by mouth in 30 seconds on Wednesday.
Erik Kloeker, 23, surpassed the previous record of 39 torches of fire extinguished in 30 seconds by "eating" 45 lit torches in front of a crowd at Jungle Jims.
Travis Fessler, Kloeker's brother, temporarily beat the record by extinguishing 43 fire torches before Kloeker claimed the title. Together, the brothers are now the world's fastest fire eaters.
The brothers are a part of the Pickled Brothers Circus and will perform at the Old West Festival every Saturday and Sunday from September 7 to October 6.
