WOOD COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash in Wood County Sunday evening that put a man in the hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers say at approximately 6:29pm, Nathaniel J. Secord, age 24, from Toledo was traveling on State Route 65 near State Route 235, when his motorcycle went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.
Mr. Secord was thrown from the bike and landed in the roadway.
He was taken by Life-Flight to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center.
Troopers say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
