MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - No sign of Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, just two co-workers who got into an argument at the office. Police say one of them got so upset, he bit off the other man's right ear lobe.

Estevan Aleman is charged with one count of aggravated assault and locked up at 201 Poplar on $75,000 bond. The victim, Edgar Castro, has been hearing the Tyson-Holyfield jokes ever since.

According to an affidavit of complaint, Aleman got into an argument with Castro, and wound up attacking Castro by biting him on the finger, forearm, and ear. An ambulance took Castro to the Delta Medical Center and then to The MED, but doctors were unable to re-attach the ear and "the assault caused disfigurement to the victim."

Castro declined an on camera interview, and said he just wishes the whole thing would go away. A bandage still covers his right ear.

It turns out, Castro is not Aleman's first victim.

Glenn Cox owns A-1 Auto Care. He used to work with Aleman at a different garage across town, but when he decided to move locations, Aleman got mad.

"So," Cox shrugged. "He bit me."

Cox needed 10 stitches. His ear is also disfigured.

As for the Tyson-Holyfield jokes? Cox gets them, too. He is just thankful he is still able to hear them.

Memphis police say Aleman admitted biting off the ear but claimed that he was defending himself at the time.
