PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -
A Prescott Valley man is in jail on suspicion of running over a Dewey woman following a bar fight Friday night, police said.
Officers learned of the altercation while attending to the injured woman near the Jackass Bar in the 8100 block of Valley Road.
The woman was in serious condition and airlifted to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment.
Officers learned that there was an adult female who had been struck by a vehicle. She was in serious condition. She was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center for her injuries.
During their investigation, officers said they learned 46-year-old Robert Hall, of Prescott Valley, left the bar in a SUV. Witnesses said he returned a short time later.
Police gathered witness accounts indicating Hall may have accelerated, crossed left of center toward a group of people near the shoulder area of the roadway and struck the 45-year-old woman, whose name was not released.
Hall fled the scene.
Police found the suspect at his home in Prescott Valley. His roommate, a 64-year-old woman, was uncooperative with investigators. She was arrested and booked for hindering prosecution.
Hall refused to provide statements to investigators.
Hall was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on one count of attempted negligent homicide, three counts of endangerment and one count of aggravated assault.
The victim was in stable condition.
