The kickoff time is announced for the University of South Carolina game against the University of Central Florida. Kickoff will be at noon on Saturday, September 28.
The television broadcast has yet to be determined. It will be televised on either ABC, ESPN or ESPNU.
The game is the first trip to Bright
House Networks Stadium in Orlando for the Gamecocks. The stadium capacity is 45,323.
South Carolina has won all three previous
meetings with the Knights, but all three of those contests were played in
Columbia, the most recent coming in 2005. That season opening contest was also
the first game coached by Steve Spurrier at South Carolina. The Gamecocks came
away with a 24-15 win that night.
The Gamecocks (2-1, 1-1 SEC) are ranked 12th in this
week's Associated Press poll and 13th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. UCF
(3-0) is coming off a win at Penn State and is listed among the other teams
receiving votes in both polls. Both teams are off this week.
The network that will carry the game will be decided
following this week's action.
