Police say they were led right to a couple alleged criminals thanks to
teens were caught with stolen items, allegedly taken from several cars. Police
say they were able to catch them thanks to an accidental phone call one of the
teens made on their cell phone – to 911.
used GPS to track where the call came from, and sent an officer to make sure
everyone was okay. The call led police to a bike trail in Rotary Park, where
the teens were found. Police say the teens then admitted to breaking into cars
not the first time we've had anybody call us and accidentally call 911," said
Police Chief Keith Torbet. "But it is the first time we've ever had a criminal
