On Friday, September 20, Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, announced the arrest of 28-year-old Aaron Moller of Youngstown. Moller was a fugitive wanted in an aggravated murder investigation.
The aforementioned investigation is that of the September 15th murder of Michel Williams McClendon, which occurred W. 43rd Street and Trent Court.
On Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 3:45 p.m., Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Detectives arrested Aaron Moller in the area of W. 30th Street and Trowbridge Avenue.
Detectives acting on investigative leads and tips saw Aaron Moller driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on W. 43rd Street and attempted to stop the vehicle.
The car fled southbound on West 30th Street and after a short pursuit struck a wooden fence. Moller and another male got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit both males were taken into custody.
Aaron Moller is currently being held in the Division's Central Prison Unit awaiting charges. The second male was questioned in connection the incident however; there are no charges at this time.
