A devastating fire destroyed a mobile home in Tiffin last weekend. The fire took the lives of 6 people, including 5 children, and ripped a family apart.
On Friday night, the community gathered for a candle light vigil inside the Tiffin Columbian High School gym.
There was a full parking lot at the high school, as almost everyone in the community was touched by the tragedy.
Hundreds of people gathered in the high school gym to honor those that lost their lives.
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz said the week has been a somber one for the entire community.
"Usually, when you're the mayor, you're speaking on behalf of something good happening in the community or fun announcements and this is just the opposite. There's a feeling of sadness and it's not good. It's not fun by any means," said the mayor.
The State Fire Marshall released information on the fire today but the cause has yet to be determined.
