Berea, OH (WOIO) - The Browns haven't had a lot of success against A.J. Green the past two years, but Sunday, they get another shot at the Bengals' star receiver, and defensive coordinator Ray Horton is confident that Joe Haden, the Browns top cornerback, can handle Green one-on-one.
"It's just a matter of one man kicking another man's...", said Horton, leaving space for the rest of us to fill in the blank. "That's football".
Green pulled in a 10-yard touchdown pass in Cincinnati's 34-27 win over the Browns in week 2 last season, and really hit the Browns hard in week 6, pulling in 7 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-24 loss to the Browns.
But it was his touchdown catch at Browns Stadium two years ago that still irks Browns fans, when the defense was caught asleep at the wheel, and Bruce Gradkowski hit Green for a 41-yard TD late in the fourth to spoil Pat Shurmur's head coaching debut.
This time, you can be sure Green is high on the Browns radar.
