The Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance and LakewoodAlive will host the First Annual Lakewood Wine & Craft Beer Festival, sponsored by World of Beer Lakewood, on Saturday, September 28, from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on a two-story open-air parking deck behind World of Beer in the heart of Downtown Lakewood.
Guests will receive a commemorative tasting glass, 15 beverage tickets, access to The University of Akron Wine & Beer School, and live music. Food will be available for purchase from nine downtown restaurants.
The festival is a fundraiser for the Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance, a program of LakewoodAlive, and will aid in the continued revitalization of Downtown Lakewood. Visit www.WineAndCraftBeerFestival.com for information about the festival and to purchase tickets online.
General admission tickets are $40 at the gate. Designated driver tickets are available for $10.
Nearly 80 wines and 150 craft beers will be featured, along with 9 food vendors.
The Lakewood Wine & Craft Beer Festival is only for those 21 and over.
The event will be located at 14701 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107.
The entrance for all ticket holders will be on St. Charles Avenue just south of Detroit Avenue.
Parking is available throughout Downtown Lakewood and in Lakewood Center North Parking Garage, north of Detroit between Bell and St. Charles Avenues.
