The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who hit two pedestrians and a dog early Monday morning, then sped away from the accident.
Police the two victims, 37-year-old Pheobie Hanover and 45-year-old Christine Miller, were walking on Openlander Road north of Buckskin Road in Mark Township around just after 7 a.m. Monday when a vehicle veered off the side of the road and hit them. Both were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Highway Patrol at 419-784-1025. The patrol says the vehicle, possibly a white pickup truck, could have damage to the front bumper and grill.
