Exactly six weeks before it's officially Election Day, the polls have opened.
Early voting for the general public begins Tuesday and ends November 1, according to the Hamilton County Board of Elections.
For the vast majority of voters, absentee voting begins 35
days prior to Election Day. There are exceptions for Military
and Overseas Civilians.
Anyone who is registered to vote in Ohio and lives in Hamilton County can come to the Board of Elections Office and cast their vote early, located at 824 Broadway in downtown Cincinnati.
November 5, 2013 Election Hours for Voting In-Person:
Begins October 1, weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In-person voting continues until November 4.
Monday, Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Mon-Thurs, Oct. 28-31 from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Friday Nov 1 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays Oct 26 and Nov 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The Board of Elections is open for voters who did not update their address before the registration deadline, which is 30 days prior to Election Day.
There are exceptions for Military voters and voters who are hospitalized, or whose minor child is hospitalized due to an accident or unforeseeable medical emergency. Click here if you are a military voter.
