Suspect charges $5K on stolen card at Target, TJ Maxx
SPRINGFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19) -
Springfield Township Police are attempting to identify a suspect accused of using a stolen credit card at Target and TJ Maxx.
Detectives say a credit card was stolen from the victim's wallet on September 21 at the Kolping Park sports complex on Mill Road. According to police, over $5,400 worth of merchandise was quickly charged on the card.
Police say it was used at Target and TJ Maxx near the Tri-County Mall. The female suspect seen in surveillance footage then attempted to charge more than $1,600 on the card but was declined.
Police say the suspect showed the victim's identification when she was challenged at the register due to the high dollar amount of the sale.
The suspect is now wanted for theft and misuse of a credit card.

calls are anonymous and callers may be eligible for a cash reward.
