(Toledo News Now) -

From fast food joints to sit-down restaurants, eight made this week's Restaurant Ratings Report, and some may tempt your taste buds more than others.

The Fuji Buffet on Monroe Street is up against five violations. On Sept. 13, inspectors found a sink blocked by dishes, improper food temperatures, cookies uncovered in the dessert cooler, and raw fish being stored above broccoli.

Jing Chuan on Secor Road racked up eight violations. Inspectors found cooked chicken being stored in a raw chicken box, which had to be thrown out. There were also severely-damaged cutting boards, dirty equipment with leftover food on it, and a front door was propped open. The floors, walls and ceiling also need cleaned.

One McDonald's on Monroe Street had seven violations. A sticky fly trap was seen hung above the dish machine. There was also grease buildup visible, and broken, damaged flooring.

Another McDonald's, this one at 831 West Alexis, had six areas in need of improvement. This included a repeat violation: Employees wearing jewelry, as well as broken equipment in use, grease buildup, and a sink not stocked with soap.

Marco's Pizza, also on West Alexis Road, had a clean visit. No violations to report there.

Other bars and restaurants along West Alexis are also in the clear: J-Cups Pizza and Still Delaney's Lounge.

If you'd like to enjoy one last day of summer-like temperatures with an ice cream treat, Flurries on Lagrange Street is the place to do it. They had no violations, either.
