An employee with the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Housing Authority has been indicted for breaking into the storage room at an apartment complex.
William Allmond has been indicted for theft in office, and nine counts of breaking and entering.
Records show Allmond confessed to nine separate break-ins at the Lorain Square Apartments on Lorain Avenue on Cleveland's west side to steal copper pipes and valves.
The apartments are public housing property, and records show Allmond was a service person with master keys to various housing authority properties.
