A Cincinnati man appeared in court Wednesday accused of seriously injuring someone with a car jack.
Rashawn Smith, 38, was charged with felonious assault in connection with an Oct. 2nd incident on Linn Street in the West End. The complaint states Smith hit the victim with a car jack three times.
According to court documents, the victim suffered a broken rib and lacerated spleen from the assault.
Smith was arrested Tuesday morning and arraigned in a Hamilton County courtroom Wednesday. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
The case will be sent to a grand jury on October 18.
