Solar panel company returns to Maumee

MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A local company that makes solar panels has moved to Maumee.

Advanced Distributed Generations (ADG) started in Maumee 15 years ago, but moved to Scott Park on the University of Toledo campus. Now they've moved back to Maumee.

"Arrowhead Park is a great business community," said John Witte, president of ADG. "They have a variety of space available, so you can find something you're looking for at the right price and the right size."

The new location is estimated to be about 7,000 square feet. Witte says that's the reason the company made the move.

"The space that we left behind at UT is going to be used for educational purposes," he said.

The new move not only gave the company more space to work, but they also can now add a couple new jobs.

The City of Maumee is experiencing an income tax revenue increase because several businesses have moved there recently.
