look this year.
new decorations will go up soon on the streets of downtown Findlay, but the new
lights come with a hefty price tag.
Downtown Findlay Improvement District (DFID) plans to decorate 50 of the 75 light
poles with new lights and ribbons this year – but it will cost nearly $600 per
council agreed to chip in more than $18,000 toward the cost on Tuesday. Leaders
say while the lights may seem expensive, they come with a 10-year guarantee,
and the process of putting them up will be a lot smoother.
