local church is trying to help provide gifts for over 1 million boys and girls
in over 130 countries this holiday season.
Cedar Creek Church is calling it Operation Christmas Child. Volunteers take
boxes the size of a shoe box and fill them with gifts. Samaritan's Purse works
with local churches like Cedar Creek to deliver the gifts to boys and girls
around the world.
Creek and other organizations in northwest Ohio will give approximately 50,000
gifts. Pastor Ben Snyder says this is a great way for the church to give back
to the community.

us at Cedar Creek," Snyder said. "It's our way of sharing that kind of love
with the world."
