TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Toledo Police say 27-year-old Dimitrias Austin Graves is wanted for the Wednesday night shooting on Spring Street that left one woman dead and injured another.
When police responded to a call about a person being shot in the 600 block of Spring before 8 p.m., they found 22-year-old Mariah Wells in the front yard on the grass with a gunshot wound in the abdomen. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe some type of argument may have started the incident, in which another woman was injured and sent to the hospital. However, a bullet only grazed her, and she has since been treated and released.
Investigation led to a murder warrant issued for Graves.
Graves is described as a black male standing 5'7'' and weighing 142 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
