Dewayne Thompson, wanted in the wounding and kidnapping of 17-year-old Katelyn Beard, has been captured by Jackson Police. He was taken into custody around 5:45 in west Jackson near where Beard's vehicle was found earlier today.

graders at Lake Erie Academy in west Toledo welcomed a special visitor Friday.
Bowser says a lot of things have happened within the walls of Lake Erie
Academy, and a lot has changed. The building used to be an orphanage, where he
grew up, and Bowser says the place put something in his heart that made him
want to give back and help share its history.

pizza and a tour of where he used to live. He says he spent five years there
when it was St. Anthony's Villa before he was adopted.
trip home last summer led to Bowser developing an ongoing correspondence with

to do with that," Bowser said. "I know when I was…living here, just having
visitors coming by kind of gave you the boost to help you through to the next
day. I just wanted to be a part of their life."
kids and Bowser have a long friendship ahead of them. They are working on a
documentary together about what the school used to be.
