LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - More than 500 cyclocross riders raced Sunday at Eva Bandman Park.

Children and junior races led up to the elite men and women, an event that started in 2005 with 95 riders. Since then, Metro Parks has revamped Eva Bandman, making it a premier cyclocross course that attracts riders from across the nation.

"They had a lot of activities down here that were less than desirable and now they've turned it into a park that we can run great events," said Race Director Robert Bobrow.
