TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A judge has set bond for a man accused of killing 22-year-old
Mariah Wells on Spring Street in north Toledo on October 23.
Dimitrias Austin Graves, 27, turned himself in to Toledo
Police over the weekend. A judge set his bond at $1,000,000 Monday.
According to Wells' mother, Marie White, her daughter and
Graves were in a relationship and visiting relatives in Toledo at the time of
the shooting. White said detectives told her a fight broke out and Graves ran
in the home to grab a gun. When Graves started shooting, Wells was hit in the
back, White said. Detectives do not believe he shot her intentionally,
according to White.
