TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Dogs who comforted students after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT last December visited Toledo on Wednesday.
The dogs visited Trinity Lutheran Church on Glendale Avenue to comfort students and church goers after the sudden death of a student's mother.
Lutheran Church Charities brought the dogs to Toledo from Addison, Illinois.
"We came in yesterday. We came in the night before, but we were with kids yesterday, yesterday at the funeral home and in classes today. And you can just tell they were, from the comments from parents they talked about it and were happy to see the dogs back today," said Lutheran Church Charities President Tim Hetzner.
