Some parents say they were more than happy to be inside.
"It's pretty gross out, and I wouldn't want to take her out and be cold. But, I understand, when we were kids we had sweatpants, sweaters, all that good stuff," said Ali Evans.
The decision to celebrate indoors had parents thinking back to Halloweens past.
"We just always did rain or shine," said Demars.
Still, they all say they're happy their little ghosts and goblins didn't have their holiday spoiled.
"No, it's wonderful. It's for the kids. We have to remember that, and I'm just so happy that my boys had somewhere that they can go during the day to do trick-or-treating. It was awesome," said Sherelle.
If you're still looking for something to keep your little ones busy Halloween night, head over to Bass Pro Shop. Trick-or-treating takes place from 6-7 p.m. and craftmaking continues from 5-8 p.m.
