TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Fashion retailer Gabriel Brothers is preparing for the grand opening of its new Toledo store next week.
Located at 5223 Monroe Street, this will be the first store in Toledo and the 15th in Ohio. What's special about this location is it will open under the name "Gabe's," a long-time moniker coined by customers nationwide.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony with the executive team, including CEO Ken Seipel, will kick off at 8 a.m. just before doors open to the public. Toledo residents and shoppers can expect special offers and prizes throughout the day, along with complimentary breakfast and lunch.
The new Gabe's store will offer shoppers famous brands found in their favorite department and specialty store at prices up to 70 percent off regular retail.
Last month, Gabriel Brothers held a two-day job fair to fill nearly 150 positions at the new store.
