A jack-knifed utility truck trailer has caused a massive traffic backup on westbound U.S. Highway 60 at Alma School Road in Mesa.
Traffic could be seen backed up for miles. Some traffic was getting around the crash, but it was mostly stop and go.
CBS 5 Traffic Reporter Nadine Bubeck recommended motorists take Southern Avenue, Baseline Road or other surface street alternatives to avoid the backup.
There was no word on injuries and crews were working to clear the wreckage after the crash about 5:30 a.m.
No other information was immediately available.
