Three people were injured when a fire broke out at Mason Estates Mobile Home Park.
It happened at 1010 Reading Rd. just after 3 a.m. this morning. When crews arrived the found one mobile home on fire and the fire spread to two adjacent homes.
Crews were able to put out the fire by 4:30 a.m.
Two people were inside the mobile home when the fire broke out. They were transported to Bethesda North Hospital with burn injuries. Their mobile home was a total loss.
A child from a neighboring home was taken to Children's Hospital Liberty Campus for observation but the severity of the injuries was not released.
In total, seven people were displaced in the fire. A family pet was also killed.
An investigation team determined the cause of the fire was accidental due to a gas leak inside the residence.
The 1000 block of Reading Road at Donna Jean reopened after being closed for about an hour and a half.
