McGahee has message for Browns teammates

Posted: Updated:

Berea (WOIO) - Willis McGahee has been in more than his share of big games. Sunday, he'll play in another one, as the Browns take on the first-place Cincinnati Bengals, and the 11-year veteran has a message for his young Browns teammates.

"You've got to want it", said McGahee prior to Thursday's practice. "We have our backs against the wall, and it can either end in a good way, or a bad way, and we don't want the bad part, we want the good part."

The Browns beat the Bengals 17-6 back in Week 4, and are coming off a big win over the Baltimore Ravens on November 3rd. A win in Cincinnati on Sunday would give the Browns a 3-1 record within the AFC North, improve their overall record to 5-5, and move them to within a half-game of the Bengals in the standings.

The last time the Browns beat the Bengals twice in the same season was in 2002, when Butch Davis was the head coach, and the team finished 9-7 and went to the playoffs, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card game.
