Doritos invited consumers to create their own Doritos commercial, and the best fan-made ad will air during the Super Bowl. The winner also receives $1 million and an opportunity to work on the movie set of the sequel to Avengers.
The semifinalists were recently announced narrowing video submissions down to 24. While multiple people in the Tri-State produced some creative commercials for the contest, it appears none of them made the cut.

The Fitness Guru Commercial: Actor Jordan Letsinger, along with a team of supporters, pieced together a commercial to enter into the Dorito's Crush Super Bowl contest. Letsinger wanted to test out something new, modern and original for the contest last year. However, finding the time wasn't easy as he was ending his last year at Northern Kentucky University. Now, as a graduate he has found more time to bring his dreams into reality.
Un-Super Villains Commercial: Josh Beshears rounded up some fellow students and friends to make his two spots, which were shot over one weekend in a garage. Beshears is an NKU graduate from Lawrenceburg, IN.
#NeverWasteAChipBro Commercial: Garey Faulkner says he came up with his gym-themed ad while working out this summer. It's the second year Faulkner has entered the contest with a group of people across the Tri-state. Faulkner says if he wins he will donate portions of the $1 million prize to CancerFreeKids.org and Pit bull animal and adoption shelters.
The official winners that will have their commercial in the Super Bowl will be decided in January. The Super Bowl airs on FOX19 on February 2, 2014.
