(WMC-TV) - It is every parent's worst fear. Taylor Townsend's mother is now living out a nightmare as she searches for her daughter, who was last seen Saturday.
Kelly Dickinson lives 115 miles away from Memphis, in Rutherford, Tenn. But her 17-year-old daughter, Taylor, was last seen in Memphis, running northbound on Pasadena Place, at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
"We literally spent two days down here just canvassing with the fliers and trying to get information out about her and descriptions," said Taylor's mother, Kelly. "Talking to the police stations, news stations, anybody that would listen."
Fliers plastered throughout Midtown describe Kelly's daughter as an endangered runaway. Investigators say she is "from out of town and she may not be familiar with Memphis."
"It's like having a hole out of your soul, you know, missing when one of your children is gone," said Kelly.
With no friends or family to lean on, Dickinson says the possibilities are nerve-wracking, but she hopes someone recognizes her daughter before it is too late.
"Very worried," she said. "Panic, fears, a lot of prayers that somebody will recognize her."
If you have any information about Taylor Townsend's whereabouts, you are asked to call investigators at (901) 636-4441.
