A boil water advisory remains in place today for part of Newburgh.
Chandler Utilities says they must wait 24 hours before testing the water to see if it's safe to drink again.
The area impacted by the advisory is in Warrick County near Newburgh. It is bounded by Oak Grove Road on the south, Telephone Road on the north, Libbert Road on the west, and Bell Road on the east.
There are approximately 500 Chandler Water customers affected by the boil water advisory.
This precautionary measure is being taken because the utility is experiencing a drinking water problem due to a water main break.
It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water in the affected area be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before use.
We will continue to update this story and let you know when it is no longer necessary to boil all cooking and drinking water.
