One suspect is still at large after two men stole a woman's car twice, led police on a reckless car chase, crashed the vehicle and fled on foot.
The ordeal began after a woman reported her 2003 Chrysler 300 stolen on Wednesday. The woman later found the car in Roselawn near the intersection of Stonybrook and Reading.
Police say that officers were called to the scene and tried to assist the woman with a tow. Authorities say that the woman declined the tow, telling police she would tow it herself.
After officers left the scene, two individuals approached the vehicle. The individuals had the car keys and stole the vehicle for a second time.
Officers say that they put out a description of the vehicle. Authorities from Lockland and Reading say they spotted the vehicle in question and gave chase. However, the chase was broke off due to the reckless driving of the suspect vehicle.
Authorities say that the vehicle crashed on Galbraith Road in Hartwell after striking at least one other vehicle. Two people emerged from the vehicle and fled the scene.
Following a pursuit, officers say that a 19-year-old man was taken in to custody. A second suspect is still at large.
